For researchers designing better models

Make organoid models reproducible enough to trust.

OrganoidBank is building qualification-ready organoid panels with standardized lots, release criteria, reference-response data, provenance, and transfer evidence.

Currently recruiting scientific partners. No confidential biological data is required for an initial conversation.

OrganoidBank-Q Liver

Research-use liver organoid qualification panel for early drug-induced liver injury screening and interindividual susceptibility research.

Physical components

  • Standardized liver organoid lots
  • Multiple biological backgrounds
  • Defined release criteria
  • Shipping and recovery protocols
  • Certificates of analysis

Data package

  • Donor/source metadata (consent-permitted)
  • Functional QC endpoints
  • Morphology and imaging data
  • Reference compound responses
  • Lot-to-lot and inter-site variability

Services

  • Research-site onboarding
  • Proficiency testing
  • Assay-transfer support
  • Annual reference updates
  • Technical consultation
Context of use: research-use qualification testing for drug-induced liver injury evaluation. These are research tools designed to support reproducible screening and model validation across independent sites. They are not clinical diagnostics, and do not replace animal testing or regulatory requirements.

End-User Advisory Program

We are building an end-user advisory group to guide product development and ensure OrganoidBank-Q meets the needs of research organizations.

The advisory group will provide early feedback on:

  • Organoid quality and usability
  • Data formats and provenance documentation
  • Shipping protocols and recovery rates
  • Proficiency testing framework
  • Commercial terms and support structure
Status: Recruiting. We are seeking established research labs and organizations in pharma, biotech, CROs, and toxicology who conduct early drug screening and model validation.

Data & Provenance

The qualification package is the moat. Every organoid lot comes with comprehensive metadata, QC records, and reference-response data.

Lot metadata

Cell source, derivation protocol, donor background, production date, lot number, and regulatory compliance documentation.

Quality control

Functional endpoints, morphology imaging, viability assays, and release criteria data for each lot.

Reference data

Concentration-response profiles for reference compounds, inter-lot variability, and reproducibility metrics across independent sites.

Transfer evidence

Proficiency test results, assay concordance across sites, and documentation of successful independent replication.

Data governance: OrganoidBank maintains full provenance records and complies with research institution data policies. Data are available to qualified end users under research agreements.
